The services included in each retreat, along with the dates, destination, accommodation details, price, payment schedule and other relevant information, will be provided on the relevant retreat page and in your booking documentation.
We aim to create welcoming, meaningful and enjoyable experiences. However, we cannot guarantee specific personal, emotional, physical or spiritual outcomes.
-
Bookings can be made through our website or through another booking method specified by us.
Before confirming a booking, you will be provided with the relevant retreat information, applicable terms, payment conditions and cancellation policy.
Your booking becomes confirmed when we accept your reservation and the required deposit has been received, subject to the booking confirmation and applicable law.
By booking a retreat, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you have had the opportunity to review the relevant booking documentation.
The booking confirmation and retreat-specific documentation form part of your agreement with us.
Where applicable, we will provide the mandatory pre-contractual information, standard information forms and package travel contract documentation required by Romanian and EU law.
-
The total retreat price and currency will be clearly communicated before booking.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, the retreat price covers only the accommodation, activities, meals, transfers or other services specifically listed as included in the retreat description.
Flights, travel to the meeting point, personal expenses, optional activities and other services not expressly included remain your responsibility.
Deposit
A deposit of the total retreat price is payable at the time of booking to secure your place.
The deposit forms part of the total retreat price and is not an additional charge.
Remaining balance
The remaining balance must be paid by 30 days before the retreat start date, or by the specific deadline stated in your booking confirmation.
We will communicate the payment deadline and accepted payment methods before you complete your booking.
Late or missed payments
If a payment is overdue, we will contact you to seek resolution.
If payment remains outstanding, we may take appropriate action under the booking agreement and applicable law, including cancellation where legally permitted. Any resulting charges or refunds will be determined under the applicable cancellation terms and statutory rights.
All applicable taxes and mandatory charges will be disclosed before you commit to the booking.
-
The accommodation, room arrangements, facilities, activities and other services included in your retreat will be described in the relevant booking information.
Where accommodation or activities are provided by third-party suppliers, we will explain the relevant arrangements as required by law.
We will fulfil our contractual responsibilities for the retreat and its included services in accordance with applicable law. Where we act as the organiser of a travel package, we remain responsible for the proper performance of the travel services included in that package, subject to applicable legal provisions.
Guests are expected to respect accommodation rules, property, other guests and the local community.
Any additional venue rules will be communicated where relevant.
-
Our retreats may include yoga, meditation, breathwork, movement, workshops and other wellness activities.
These activities are intended to support wellbeing, connection and personal exploration. They are not a substitute for medical advice, diagnosis, treatment or mental health care.
Participation in activities is voluntary. You are responsible for considering your own needs and limitations before participating.
You agree to follow reasonable safety instructions provided by instructors, facilitators and venue staff.
Please inform us in advance of relevant accessibility requirements or support needs so we can discuss reasonable arrangements where possible.
If you feel unwell or uncomfortable during an activity, you should stop participating and seek assistance where appropriate.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by law.
-
We aim to create a welcoming, respectful and inclusive environment.
All participants are expected to treat other guests, facilitators, instructors, suppliers and local communities respectfully.
Harassment, discrimination, threatening behaviour, violence or other serious misconduct will not be tolerated.
Where a participant's conduct creates a serious safety concern or significantly disrupts the retreat, we may take proportionate action, including requiring the participant to stop an activity or leave the retreat where justified.
Any such action will be handled in accordance with applicable law and the relevant booking terms, including any rights relating to refunds or other remedies.
-
Unless expressly included in the retreat price, flights, visas, travel to and from the retreat, and personal travel arrangements are your responsibility.
You are responsible for ensuring that you hold the necessary travel documents and meet the entry requirements for your destination.
We recommend that you obtain suitable travel insurance covering relevant medical expenses, trip cancellation, travel interruption and personal belongings.
This recommendation does not limit any obligations we have under applicable travel or consumer protection law.
-
We may take photographs or record videos during retreat activities for personal memories or promotional purposes.
Where required by law, we will obtain appropriate consent before using identifiable photographs, videos or testimonials for marketing.
You may tell us if you do not wish to appear in promotional content. We will explain how we can accommodate this request.
Participants must respect the privacy of other guests and obtain any necessary permissions before publishing identifiable images or recordings of them.
-
Item All cancellations, refunds and applicable cancellation fees are governed by our separate Cancellation Policy, available below.
Please read the Cancellation Policy carefully before completing your booking. It forms part of the terms applicable to your retreat reservation.

-
If you cancel your retreat booking more than 60 days before the scheduled start date, you will receive a full refund of payments made, minus any actual, non-refundable payment processing or transaction fees that we are legally permitted to deduct. Any deduction will be disclosed and explained.
If you cancel your booking 60 days or less before the scheduled start date, payments are non-refundable, except where a refund is required by applicable law or under these Terms & Conditions.
All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to info@animaretreats.com. The date we receive your written cancellation request will determine which cancellation terms apply.
-
If you are unable to attend, you may contact us to discuss transferring your booking to another person, subject to availability, reasonable conditions and any applicable transfer costs.
Any transfer will require our written confirmation. This section does not limit any statutory transfer rights that may apply under applicable law.
-
If we cancel a retreat, we will notify affected guests as soon as reasonably possible.
Guests will receive any refund or other remedy required under the applicable booking terms and law. Where a retreat is covered by package travel legislation, the relevant statutory refund rights will apply.
-
We aim to deliver the retreat experience described at the time of booking. However, circumstances may occasionally require changes to activities, schedules, instructors, venues or accommodation.
We will communicate any significant changes as soon as reasonably possible and explain the options available to affected guests in accordance with applicable law.
Nothing in this section removes any rights guests may have if a significant part of the agreed retreat cannot be delivered.
-
Nothing in this Cancellation Policy excludes or limits consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded under applicable Romanian or European Union law.
Where mandatory legal provisions entitle a guest to a refund or other remedy, those provisions will take precedence over this policy.
-
Approved refunds will be processed using the original payment method wherever reasonably possible, unless otherwise agreed or required by law.
The time it takes for a refund to appear in your account may depend on your bank, card issuer or payment provider.
